Our Story
The Moriah Channel began as a childhood dream that became a reality in March of 2026 with the formation of our parent company Yakalis Media LLC. What began with a childhood imagination for providing commentary at sporting events or being a news anchor while playing has today become a reality with the launch of the Moriah Nightly News and other planned programming in the future.
Our Community
We primarily serve the Essex County NY region here in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. Because our base of operations and namesake is in the Town of Moriah, our community concentrates on this region as a base of operations and growth. In time, we hope to expand to other parts of New York as resources and time permit.
Our Features
The Moriah Channel's main goal is to eventually operate a 24/7 tv style channel right here in the Adirondacks using modern methods of communication. To keep costs low, we utilize Facebook and YouTube as our main "broadcast towers" with the long-term hopes of landing on platforms like Roku and Amazon Fire TV to expand reach and enhance availability and ease of access for our audience.
